Seamless Flake Epoxy Flooring Newcastle
Decorative, hard-wearing flake epoxy floors for garages, homes and commercial spaces across Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Mid North Coast.
Flake epoxy is the most popular flooring system we install, and for good reason. It looks genuinely great, handles real-world use without complaining, and comes in enough colour combinations to suit almost any space. One day on site and your floor is unrecognisable.
Flake seamless flooring consists of a two pack heavy duty epoxy resin base coat inlayed with multi colour chips/flakes and over coated with a series of polyaspartic top coats
Seamless flooring can be applied to concrete in either conventional smooth or non slip finishes. Coving to the wall and floor junction can be installed and overcoated if required to make a continuous seam joining the walls and floor together
What Is Flake Epoxy Flooring?
Flake epoxy is a multi-layer system. A heavy-duty epoxy base coat goes down first, then coloured vinyl flakes are broadcast across the wet surface. Once that layer cures, the floor is sealed with a series of polyaspartic top coats that lock the flakes in and create a hard, seamless finish.
The result is a floor with natural texture, grip underfoot, and a depth of colour that solid epoxy can't replicate. Because there are no joins, grout lines or seams, it's also one of the easiest surfaces to keep clean.

Colours, Flake Sizes and Finishes
This is where flake flooring stands out from other systems. The combinations are almost unlimited.
Fine through to large
Fine flakes give a subtle, refined look. Larger flakes create more texture and visual depth. We'll show you samples at the site visit so you can see the difference in person.
Neutral, bold or custom
Mix and match from a wide range of flake colours to create a blend that works with your space, whether that's soft neutrals, stronger contrast or something in between.
Polished concrete effect
Stone-effect flakes give the appearance of polished concrete or natural stone without the cost or ongoing maintenance those surfaces usually demand.
Tailored to how you use it
Standard finish suits most interior spaces. Non-slip texture is available for garages, wet areas and anywhere grip underfoot matters.
Seamless wall junction
A continuous coved junction between the floor and wall seals the edge completely. It's standard in commercial kitchens and amenities, and optional for any residential or commercial space.
Non-yellowing polyaspartic
We only use non-yellowing polyaspartic sealers, so the colour and clarity of the floor won't drift over time, even in well-lit or partially sun-exposed areas.
Where Flake Epoxy Works Best
A durable, seamless system that suits a wide range of residential and commercial environments.
Garages
The most popular application. Handles oil, tyre marks and daily vehicle use. Transforms how a garage looks and feels.
Residential Interiors
Laundries, home gyms, studios and living areas. Seamless, easy to clean and available in finishes that suit modern interiors.
Commercial Spaces
Showrooms, retail floors, amenities and food service areas. Hygienic, durable and presentable under constant use.
Kitchens and Amenities
No grout lines means nowhere for bacteria to sit. Seamless flooring with coved skirting is the preferred solution in food-handling areas.
Workshops
Chemical and solvent resistant. Holds up to workshop use without staining or breaking down.
Why Flake Epoxy Holds Up
Flake epoxy is built to cope with real-world use, not just look good on day one. The system is engineered to resist UV, spills and day‑to‑day wear so the floor keeps performing.
From hiding tired concrete to making cleaning quicker, each layer adds something — protection, durability and a finish that actually lasts.
Won't Fade Or Yellow
UV stable polyaspartic top coats keep the colour consistent for years. No bleaching, no yellowing and no dull patches where the sun hits the floor.
Resistant To Chemicals & Oils
Solvents, oils and most common cleaning chemicals don't affect the surface. Spills wipe away without soaking in or leaving permanent marks.
Hides Slab Imperfections
The flake broadcast covers hairline cracks, stains and uneven colouring in the existing concrete, helping old slabs look completely new once the system is finished.
Hygienic & Easy To Clean
No grout lines, no joins and no gaps for bacteria or moisture. Sweep and mop — that's genuinely all it takes to keep the floor looking sharp and hygienic.
How We Install Flake Epoxy Flooring
Every flake epoxy floor follows the same proven steps. Proper preparation and curing at each stage is what makes the system bond to the concrete and hold up long‑term.
Surface Grinding
Mechanical grinding opens the concrete and removes contaminants. This is what makes the epoxy bond properly and last the distance.
Crack & Pit Repair
Any damage in the slab is filled and levelled before the coating goes down, so the finished floor looks even and consistent.
Epoxy Base Coat
Heavy-duty two-pack epoxy resin is applied as the base. Coloured flakes are broadcast across the wet surface while it's still open.
Polyaspartic Top Coats
A series of clear polyaspartic sealers lock the flakes in, build up surface hardness and deliver the final finish. UV stable, so it won't yellow.
Most residential flake epoxy floors are completed in one to two days, with the surface typically ready for light foot traffic within 24 hours and vehicle use shortly after, depending on conditions.
