Commercial & Industrial Epoxy Flooring Newcastle
Heavy-duty floor coating systems for warehouses, factories, workshops and commercial spaces across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
Concrete floors in commercial and industrial environments take real punishment: forklifts, chemical spills, heavy foot traffic, pressure washing. Standard concrete isn’t built to handle that indefinitely. Floortex Industries installs epoxy systems that are. Our floor coatings are available in a wide range of colours and textures with the option of a slip resistant surface.
We work with businesses across Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Maitland, Cessnock, Lake Macquarie and the Mid North Coast. Two in-house teams, no subcontractors, free on-site quotes.
Industries We Work In
Different industries need different systems. We assess your environment and specify accordingly so the floor matches the loads, traffic and hygiene requirements of the space.
Warehouses & Distribution
Forklift-rated systems with safety zone and walkway marking built into the coating.
Mechanical & Automotive
Oil, grease and chemical-resistant coatings. Spills sit on the surface and wipe away clean.
Food Manufacturing & Cold Rooms
Seamless, non-porous surface that withstands wash-downs, cleaning chemicals and hygiene compliance requirements.
Retail & Showrooms
High-gloss finishes that lift the appearance of a commercial space and handle consistent foot traffic.
Workshops & Factories
Impact and abrasion-resistant systems for heavy production environments.
Other Applications
Aircraft hangars, waste water plants, abattoirs, pharmaceutical facilities, offices and more.
Before & After
A quick look at how a tired concrete floor transforms once the prep is done and the epoxy system goes down.
What a Commercial Epoxy Floor Actually Delivers
Beyond appearance, a properly specified commercial epoxy system cuts cleaning time, reduces downtime and improves safety across the facility.
Reduced Cleaning Time & Cost
Sealed concrete is far easier to maintain than bare or painted concrete. Spills don't absorb. Dust doesn't lift.
Less Downtime for Repairs
A correctly installed epoxy system lasts 10 to 20 years in commercial use. No patching, repainting or replacement in that window.
Chemical & Impact Resistance
Cured epoxy polymer resists acids, oils, solvents and heavy impact. It doesn't deteriorate the way painted or bare concrete does.
Safety Compliance
Slip-resistant finishes, anti-static options and colour-coded zone marking all built into the one installation.
Better Working Environment
High-gloss options improve light reflection in the facility. Cleaner floors, brighter space, better impression on clients and staff.
Faster ROI than Alternatives
Compared to full floor replacement or tiles, epoxy is quicker to install, less disruptive and significantly cheaper over its lifespan.

Our Installation Process
Every commercial job is different. We start by understanding your environment, not just measuring the floor.
Site Inspection and Specification
We visit the facility, assess the slab condition, traffic profile, chemical exposure and compliance requirements. Then we specify the right system, not just the cheapest one.
Surface Grinding and Preparation
Mechanical grinding opens the substrate and removes contamination. Cracks and damaged areas are repaired. This is the step that determines how long the coating lasts.
Epoxy Application
The correct system is applied in the right number of coats, with proper cure time between layers. Safety markings and zone colours are incorporated at this stage.
Final Inspection and Handover
We walk through the finished floor with you before we pack up. The facility is handed back clean and ready for use as soon as the product is cured.
